Minimum Wage hike in Mexico by 22% from 01 January 2022 - December 31, 2021

The minimum wage has been updated in Mexico with effect from 01 January 2022. The minimum wages have been increased per day as follows:

• The general minimum wage increases from 141.70 to 172.87 pesos a day;
• The minimum wage in the Free Zone of the North Border increases from 213.39 to 260.34 pesos per day.
