Austria - Higher pay for employees in insurance companies - February 28, 2025

The negotiations for the approximately 27,000 employees in the insurance industry led to a collective agreement in the second bargaining round on 17 February. Salaries of back office employees will increase by 2.9% plus € 19.50. Combined with a maximum monthly increase of € 207.50, the minimum salaries will increase on average by 3.4%. Salaries sales force employees will increase by 3.6%. According to the collective agreement, all allowances for back office employees will increase by 2.9% - including the child allowance.
