Austria - 3.5% more pay in social work and healthcare - January 31, 2025

Negotiations on the collective agreement for the almost 10,000 employees in social work and healthcare were successfully concluded on 30 January. Workers will receive 3.5% more pay, but at least € 100. The new salary scheme will be introduced from 1 July 2025. Nine rounds of negotiations were necessary to reach an agreement. At the last minute, before 1 February an agreement was finally reached. This concerns employees in around 150 institutions in Vorarlberg.
