Austria - New agreement in clothing industry - June 30, 2023

After intensive negotiations trade unions and employers concluded a new collective agreement for the clothing industry and industrial laundries. Actual wages will increase by 10%. The minimum wage and compensation of apprentices will increase by 10.5%. The new minimum wage is € 1,754.22 (clothing industry) or € 1,773.25 (industrial laundries). The agreement will take effect from 1 July 2023 for a period of 12 months.
