This is part of our ongoing webinar series on heightened human rights due diligence (hHRDD) in Myanmar which considers hHRDD from various angles, and aims to provide guidance to international businesses operating in Myanmar to pursue this in the local context.

EuroCham's partner the MADE in Myanmar project will co-host this webinar and bring insights on wages from Myanmar's garment sector. International experts Global Rights Compliance and the WageIndicator Foundation will share relevant insights and recommendations from their international experience, drawing on legal frameworks, including ILO recommendations, and recently adopted EU legislation, as well as how a living wage is defined, and an effective living wage strategy can be pursued.
